The Nets trying to disown that shithole referred to as New Jersey. TFM.

I’ll take the hard-knock, ghetto life of Newark over the hipster trash that is Brooklyn. Most of those turds actually have money and the choice over their lifestyle. They choose to be “hip”

Sewanee you know for a fact that the only reason you know the phrase “hard-knock” is either because of Annie or Jay-Z. If you know it from Annie, please aerate your face with a spiked bat. If you know this phrase from Jay-Z, you know he is from Brooklyn, and that he in fact did go to the School of Hard Knocks. Therefore Brooklyn has the hard-knock lifestyle.

^ pardon my ignorance, but what is an EBT card? I noticed that payment option at the store today and wondered what it was.

They switched food stamps over to these EBT cards that you can just swipe in the checkout like a credit card. Democrats mandated this awhile back so that the jigs on welfare could quietly buy their food in supermarkets without feeling any “stigma” for getting handouts. Total bullshit if you ask me. There should be a fucking siren that goes off in the store whenever someone uses EBT so that everyone turns and sees the freeloader in their midst.

“Hey guys lets hate on other states because we don’t live there!” Business Casual – how about you sack up and spend the money to take a trip out to the northeast. You sound ignorant, not “fratty.” Oh and if New Jersey is such a shit hole then why do so many Wall Street men choose to raise their families there? Also, I hate to be “that kid” on TFM bragging about how much his house costs, but Northern New Jersey is home to some of the United State’s most expensive real estate. I don’t know if Indiana can say that much.

Wall street men live there because they can’t afford the land in NY proper or Connecticut. You have to factor in the time spent commuting as well. The only reason Jersey is expensive in places is because of its proximity to NYC, not any inherent value.

There is not one good thing about the state of New Jersey, other than it is in the United States.

They were bought by a Russian who wanted to move them to NY. Had an interview on 60 minutes not to long ago. When looking at the facts, this is in no way frat.

Despite the fact the dude is Russian, he is pretty legit. He’s more or less the equivalent of the Koch brothers. Hell the dude arranged for hookers at a party in the French Alps a few years ago. Dude was a finance major who engineered a hostile takeover of state assets when he was in his mid 20s. Give him some credit
