Let’s be honest, yes Arkansas does. Georgia and South Carolina should be right after Arkansas too. There is no reason why Boise State, Houston, or Stanford should be higher than them when the BCS rankings come out tonight.
Arkansas does have a reason. I can’t believe Georgia and South Carolina got shafted in the rankings. Boise State and Stanford have no business staying that high.
Who has Arkansas beat? The South Carolina team that lost their starting quarterback and Heisman worthy running back? The Georgia team that got smoked by Boise State, a team you say has no business being ranked as high as they are? Oh, and don’t forget that 24 point loss to Alabama.
Fratams, Boise State played one hard game this year, if they had to play teams like Georgia on a weekly basis they wouldn’t have a winning record right now.
Besides, I’m a firm believer that Georgia lost that game because of those god awful jerseys.
I was okay with the jerseys, but goddamnit, those were the ugliest fucking helmets ever worn. Those were worse than the UMD flag ones, which I thought were at least a cool idea at the start because of Maryland’s state flag design. The UGA ones were just an awful idea to begin with, and the resulting helmets were just stupid.
SouthernByGodsGrace, I never made the argument that Boise could handle an entire season playing a tough schedule. They probably couldn’t, but we don’t know that definitively. Regardless, that doesn’t change the fact that Georgia wasn’t ever that close to Boise, and that was both teams first game. Back to my original point, you’re right Voyage, Arkansas didn’t play Georgia, but that just furthers the point that they don’t really have any great wins, and the only time they played a top team they got worked. Guess we’ll find out if they belong in the top 5 when they play LSU.
Alright you dumbshit John Quincy Federalist, Arkansas plays in the SEC West, the best division in the toughest conference in the nation. In the SEC, you always have a tough schedule simply because you’re in the SEC. You play competative teams week in and week out. Who have we beaten? Well I mean we just have 6 consecutive wins all over SEC teams. You forget that we also have a rookie starting quarterback, who is already one of the best in the nation. We would stomp everyone behind us in the top 10. I’d bet my dick on it. That’s why we’re ranked number 3 in the nation, and that’s why you should go fuck yourself. Woo Pig Sooie.
As long as Bama takes care of Auburn the BCS championship game is either BAMA VS LSU or BAMA VS ARKANSAS. Unless Georgia knocks off Arkansas or LSU which i highly doubt but could happen..
I read all of your comments as “BLAH BLAH BLAH.I’m in a conference where sports is first and academics is second and that’s why it was so easy for me to get into Georgia, Florida, LSU…etc etc.”
I do give Vandy credit…only intelligent campus in the SEC

14 years ago at 3:01 pmWe don’t need to be able to play in the cold, because the bowl games we go to are played where it’s still 70 around New Year’s Day.
14 years ago at 3:01 pmWe don’t always play in the cold weather. But when we do, we’re always better than the Pac 12

14 years ago at 6:47 pmJohn Quincy Fratams, I suppose leading by 7 doesn’t count as “close” to them?

14 years ago at 8:54 pmI never understood why people think UGA is “easy” to get in to. It’s not the hardest, but it is not a walk in the park.
14 years ago at 9:04 pm^^This guy has no fucking clue what he’s talking about.
14 years ago at 9:33 pmOkay Vandy costs 60k a year. Coincidentally they do not invest their lives into their football team(or someone else’s team). Thus proving my point.
