Business socks are not an exception to the rule, you never wear socks with boat shoes and you don’t dress up Sperrys. You should only be in business socks anyway and if you must wear socks, put on a damn pair of loafers with the socks, not casual Sperrys, awesome as they are.
Shimano, I own Sperry loafers and do wear them with dress socks. The point of the comment is this: never socks with boat shoes, “but it’s cold” well wear socks with loafers. and if you use Shimano as your name seems to suggest, you should reconsider your choice.
