He chose to stay in Missouri to be closer to his brother who has cancer. No matter where he was going to play, he was going to be close to home.

The SEC is a vastly over-rated, top heavy conference. It’s not saying too much that Mizzou will probably go 8-5 this year.

^^ if by over-rated you mean 6 national championships in a row, then yes the SEC is waaaay over-rated.

^He said it’s top heavy.since you’re probably a woman that doesn’t know basic terms such as “top heavy”, I will explain. It means the top teams are really awesome, but everyone else isn’t that great. Thus the 6 national titles. Dumbass.

^If by top heavy, you mean that 5 of the 12 teams last year had 10+ win seasons? Sounds a little better than top heavy. No other conference had more than 3 10+ win teams. The other conferences are top heavy, not the SEC.

^^Auburn was actually worth a shit and had to play LSU/Bama/UGA/Arky. Making the total of good teams to 6; that’s half the fucking conference. The bottom 4-5 teams of every conference sucks every year. So according to you, every conference is top heavy. The fact that 2 SEC teams played for the NC gives the appearance, to dumbshits (like you), that the conference was top heavy.

Except it’s the other way around. Individual players sign with colleges.

You have to be good enough for the university to want you on their football team.

Yeah, your skill level gets you a bid to however good of an organization you are worth of, then it’s up to you to decide which one is ‘right’ for you. In special cases, there are legacies, such as Archie and Eli. So yes, it works exactly like the Greek system.

Hahaha sec schools give bids to dark ones. What a joke. Should have all their charters revoked and be shunned from our light shaded society

User More Frat Than You is stating that football players signing to their school of choice is the equivalent to bid day in the fraternity world. This shows the similarities that aspects of the fraternity culture have with real world things.
