Agreed. The M4 is shit for range so I don’t know why he would have a optic that is designed for a sniper rifle on a weapon designed for close quarter combat.
Shooting cans in the back yard with a .223? Sure hope he doesn’t have neighbors within a half mile or so… and there is still no excuse for poor trigger discipline.
If the M4 is shit for range, why do we shoot it at 500 yards on the rifle range? (with iron sights at boot camp) We only just started using ACOG’s in the FMF.
He needs to run out & fetch some Hollister duds and spike his hair to go along with the cheap rails (looks like UTG), crap optics (nothing wrong with carry handle mounts, IF done the right way), and OD green furniture (probably Tapco.)
TFM: Ditching the embarassingly tacticool M4gery for an early serial number, no forward-assist Colt A1. Firing using the irons, and with a leather national match sling.
1) Every time you incorrectly refer to a magazine as a clip, God kills a puppy.
2) To this cocksucker one comment up, magnified optics are used on ARs all the time… saying that the 5.56 round has “shit for range” shows that you know about as much about guns (or American freedom) as Whitney Houston knows about her limits with drugs.
3) The terrible lack of trigger discipline in this picture is how shit like UF Lambda Chi happens; ask them if it was worth getting a picture posted on TFM, and then kindly stop making all reasonable supporters of the Second Amendment look like idiots.
1. All guns are always loaded.
2. Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target.
4. Be sure of your target and what is beyond it.

Learn them or I’ll be the first one to tackle your ass when you break them and endanger those around you.
1.) A gun is always loaded with a round in the chamber.
2.) Only aim at something if you are going to shoot it.
3.) Only shoot if you are going to kill it.
4.) If you kill it you eat it. (Obviously not applicable when shooting at the range.)
1) Treat every weapon as if it were loaded.
2) Never point a weapon at anything you do not intend to shoot.
3) Keep your finger straight and off the trigger until you are ready to fire.
4) Keep your weapon on safe until you intend to fire.

14 years ago at 7:17 pmDid nobody notice how he has a high power optic on what looks suspiciously like a STAG-15 M4 with the short barrel and a CQB foregrip?

14 years ago at 1:34 pmThere’s no magazine, so it’s probably safe for him to handle.
14 years ago at 1:36 pmYou still never put your finger on the trigger until you’re ready to shoot something. Basic handling rule. He could have one in the chamber.
14 years ago at 1:38 pmBFK – never shot a firearm before.
