LeBron One Win Away From Silencing America

As the night of Game 5 dawns upon sports fans, the most discussed topic is LeBron and his quest for that elusive championship ring. Regardless of your rooting interest (I’m guessing it’s the Thunder though), it’s hard to deny the fact that LeBron James is an absolute monster. His performance in the entire playoffs this year has been nothing short of historic as he has sought to finally silence his critics and their overplayed, ring-less, no title jokes. Also ring-less? Kevin Durant.

There is a chance, though, that LeBron doesn’t win. It’s not unrealistic for the Thunder to pull this off. Kevin Durant is completely capable of a legendary game tonight, and it’s not crazy to think that the Thunder could win twice with that raucous, rowdy, OKC crowd behind them. Imagine if your state had one professional sports franchise. The people of Oklahoma literally bleed blue and white; if the Thunder can pull of one victory in Miami tonight this series could get interesting really quick.

However, for the time being, there is still this:

And be sure to follow @TFMLive for the in game updates. We won’t tell you the score or anything, but we’ll beat the Chris Bosh/velociraptor joke to death and make fun of LeBron James’ 4th quarter man-ssages.

That is if Twitter doesn’t crash again.

Worst thing about this is how lousy Miami is as a sports town.

Most fans down here are fair-weather. At some UM games, we’re lucky to get 45,000. The Marlins are now above league average in attendance since they’re in a good location that has easy access to downtown, Miami Beach and Gables. The Heat fans are pure bandwagoners. The Dolphins fans have always had dedicated fans that go to the games. Not that lousy of a sports town but just average.
