A Bowling Green Pike Eats Chipotle For 100 Days, Raises Money For Brother’s Cancer Bills
What started off as a joke quickly turned into a good cause for Joe Gallo, a recent graduate of Bowling Green and a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. His original goal was to parody the “100 days of happiness” trend and turn it into “100 days of Chipotle,” where he would eat one Chipotle burrito each day for 100 days.
Just a few days after he began his Chipotle challenge, he learned his fellow brother, Bret Grund, had been diagnosed with stage-four brain cancer. Gallo then decided to turn his mission into a cause to help raise money to cover Bret’s medical bills. Gallo and his fraternity brothers started a GoFundMe campaign, and they have already raised $10,000 to put toward Bret’s medical bills. Thus, #100daysforgrundfund was born. Their goal is to raise $10,000 more to help ease the burden on Bret and his family.
Gallo is 83 days into his challenge, and you can track his running log on Instagram here. If you would like to help out, visit their GoFundMe page to donate. Keep eating, Joe, and prayers to Bret as he goes through this difficult time.

All kidding aside, I see a lot of pike in the news for outstanding charity/philanthropy events. Keep up the good work
