Aaron Rodgers Goes Greek
The Green Bay Packers earned a bye week during the NFL’s Wild Card Weekend. That’s what a 15-1 regular season record will earn you. And that’s what quarterback play by Aaron Rodgers will get you.
Bye weeks are great for resting the body after a long, grueling, physically demanding season. They’re useful for studying up on your next opponent and game-planning. They’re even nice to visit the family or catch some peaceful rest back home.
That is, unless, you are Aaron Rodgers. A. Rodge used his bye week to get initiated by the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity at St. Norbert College in Wisconsin last Thursday, along with teammate Graham Harrell. Rodgers was loosely affiliated with the TKE chapter at California Berkeley during his college days, but Head Coach Jeff Tedford wouldn’t allow him to officially join. He wanted his players focused on football, and only football.
“But, but he didn’t even go through pledgeship. How can this happen?” Shut up. He won a Superbowl MVP. You don’t get to haze him.
Don’t look for Brother Rodgers to make your local rush party in the next few weeks, though. He has plans.
Here’s to you, A. Rodge. Frat on, sir.

13 years ago at 9:50 pmIs TKE chapter at Berkeley even any good? I heard they don’t haze in California= they are pussies and Rodgers should have had no business associating with them
13 years ago at 7:43 pmI’m not from Cali but I can tell you that’s not true at all.
13 years ago at 8:54 pmGood to see TKE initiating guys AFTER they become big-name celebrities so they can make their alumni base look better

13 years ago at 1:09 pmGreat. Now all they’re gonna talk about on ESPN is how another shitty “we bid everyone” chapter got kicked off campus and how Rodgers is sad about it
13 years ago at 6:38 amWhy the fuck would you even want to join a fraternity if you don’t go through any of the pledgeship everyone else in the fraternity went through.
13 years ago at 4:23 pmIf you can’t go greek, you go TKE!! Way to go Rodgers, next time don’t be such a geed and join the first fraternity that offers you a bid.
