Alabama Sigma Pi Kicks Out Member Who Sent Explicitly Racist Tinder Messages

It’s 2017. I’d hope that after thousands of years, the human would have advanced enough to learn from other’s catastrophic mistakes and ill-advised social media usage, but it appears we may have a few more years to go before the most intellectually challenged among us are able to acquire this ability.

A Washington D.C. magazine editor took to Facebook and Twitter this morning to put a former University of Alabama fraternity member on blast after their match on Tinder resulted in some unexpected, incredibly racist messages.

A man named Kyle, later identified as a suspended (and now terminated) University of Alabama Sigma Pi member, came out swinging with a pair of future-killing messages before delivering a knockout blow on himself.

Kyle: Is the black guy in your picture your boyfriend?

Kyle: Ain’t no one like a n****r lovin white girl

Emi: Hi Kyle! I’m so sorry to be the one to have to tell you this, but your use of the n-word is actually a facet of racial violence! Also, there are no black men in any of my profile pictures.

Kyle: I come from Alabama where the only place we like our n****rs is hangin from trees

Kyle: Let me guess you also think Hillary Clinton is good for America and the f*ggots queerosexuals should have rights?

Kyle: #fakenews #deplorable

Those one-of-a-kind, dumbass comments landed Kyle on the street as soon as Sigma Pi’s national headquarters found out about his misdeeds. They quickly followed up with a Twitter reply of their own.

The University of Alabama has also opened a disciplinary investigation into the incident.

I’m the last one to call for censorship or overt political correctness, but my God, Kyle. It’s 2017. Get it together..
