America Went Ahead And Took Out ISIS Leader With Deadly Drone Strike
What a week it has been for the United States of America. First, we celebrate our freedom while the Air Force kept Russian bombers from ruining the party. Next, we go out and walk all over Japan in the World Cup final. Now, we just took out one of the top leaders of ISIS with a drone strike on Tuesday.
From Kens 5:
Afghan broadcaster TOLOnews, citing the National Directorate of Security (NDS), reported that Shahidullah Shahid died Tuesday in an attack in Nangarhar Province, eastern Afghanistan.
“It was confirmed today that a senior leader of IS group for Khorasan region, Shahidullah Shahid, has been killed in a drone strike,” the NSA said Thursday, according to Pakistani newspaper The Express Tribune. Another 24 militants were killed in the strike, the paper added.
The United States didn’t have a comment on the strikes. Taking the “act like we’ve been there before” approach. I love it. Stay humble, stay hungry.
Listen up, ISIS. We can continue to play these games, but at this point we aren’t even trying and still winning. There’s still time for you guys to bow gracefully out of this clearly one-sided competition..
