there are times reading this site where i wondered why people had such proactive hate for geeds. where i come from they’re mostly nerds that just keep to themselves. had much more disdain for particular other fraternities to be honest. after seeing this i really sympathize with you warehousing 13th grade state school types. this kid is awful. how/why he is even in college is beyond me. he serves as as strong a case against the assertion that higher education should be a right for all as i have ever seen, regardless of whether he or the cops were right.
Directly from the University of Kentucky housing policy:
“Authorized university personnel may enter a student’s residence hall room without permission for the following reasons:
To provide routine maintenance
To provide routine inspections to ensure that residents are following health, fire, and safety regulations
To respond to emergency situations; e.g., situations which threaten the health and/or safety of room occupants, and situations which require immediate maintenance to prevent property damage or immediate action to correct the health, fire and/or safety risk
When there is reason to believe that a violation of university policy is taking place in the room and occupants in the room do not open the door when requested to do so.
Authorization to enter a student’s room under this policy does not constitute authorization to conduct a search of the room.”
The campus police were in their rights to enter the room. The kid is a good for nothing geed and deserves to have his ass kicked the fuck out of college.

Were these campus police or the city police? I’d be shocked if they were city police.

13 years ago at 1:19 pmCussing is not illegal champ. Neither is being “belligerent.” Unfortunately, neither is being a giant deuche. Otherwise, you’d both go to jail.

1.) “Authorization to enter a student’s room under this policy does not constitute authorization to conduct a search of the room.”
2.) A UK policy doesn’t trump the US Constitution
