First off, my chapter does not have a due payment plan, and I have no trouble whatsoever with paying dues, which are not by any means low.
Second, it is fucked up that this site believes it is a TFM to only include upper class people. It is definitely possible for it to occur that way, but to brag about not allowing fratters to prove their worthiness just because, for example, their parents (who are not poor) believe that their son should pay for a fraternity out of their own pocket – and fuck you of you think everyone on here could easily do that without some kind of payment plan. And yes, if you look at the top TFMs of all time, there is one in the top 5 or so about fratting hard without being the son of a fucking CEO. I know the kid who submitted that, and it is entirely true. So to recap, fuck this TFM and fuck anyone who thinks that being a frat star requires being part of old money. Not saying it doesn’t help, but still fuck you.
So if they pay their dues, but over the course of the semester instead of up front, they’re already NF? That’s not stealing money, they would still pay the damned dues. Fucking absurd to say no to someone because they have to actually work to be able to frat.
