Just remember the four rules of gun control and you’ll be fine.
1. All guns are always loaded.
2. Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target.
4. Be sure of your target and what is beyond it.
I am very aware of the rules of gun control, as an Eagle Scout and certified NRA instructor I have seen first hand the consequences of poor instruction.
I am particularly fond of the phrase “Don’t aim at anything you aren’t willing to shoot. Don’t shoot at anything you aren’t willing to kill. Don’t kill anything you aren’t willing to eat.”
The above statement should be known and respected by all gun owners as well as anyone who hunts.
No. If you don’t intend to fire, keep your finger off the trigger. Keep the muzzle either pointed at something you intend to kill, or at the dirt. Keep the safe on as often as possible. And if it has a carry handle, don’t carry by the carry handle unless you want to look like.a dumbass. That’s the nice version. If you want the right version, enlist.
Im curious as to why he has a scope on this. I own an AR for 3 reasons:
1)House Protection
2) It’s a bad ass gun
3) The Zombie Apocalypse
I feel those are pretty much all of the practical reasons to own an AR outside of military/law enforcement. None of those three reasons would require, or would it even be beneficial to have such a large zoom optic. So why?
Oh you’ve got a gay ass undershirt with a PFG?

14 years ago at 3:37 pmIt has not been made clear, are you supposed to keep your finger on the trigger when you’re not aiming at something?
I never shot a gun before and don’t want to appear NF at the range.
