Austin Mexican Restaurant Perfectly Trolls Former Texas AD With Hilarious Sign

On Tuesday, Texas’ money hungry Athletic Director and all-around terrible person Steve Patterson was fired from his duties (he’ll tell you that he resigned, but that’s just him trying to save face). During his tenure, he has been notorious for raising ticket prices, charging patrons for parking, making coaches pay for meals in the athletic dining hall, and even taking away the baseball team’s flights, replacing them with long, uncomfortable bus trips. To put it nicely, the man has been a disaster for the University of Texas.

As Steve Patterson was on his way out, a local establishment decided to take one last parting shot at Steve. El Arroyo, which is known for it’s $1 margaritas on Thursdays and its clever daily sign displays, had this sign up for the world to see yesterday:

Perfectly executed troll job, El Arroyo. Not only have you won my heart with your queso and margaritas, but also your clever way with words.
