Austin Man Is Selling His Two Degrees So You Can Just Party For Four Years
Have you ever wished that you could just go to college, party all the time, never go to class, and still get your degree? Wish no more. Your prayers have been answered thanks to one business-minded Austin man. For only $180,000, you can hold an undergraduate degree in Finance and Business Management from Coastal Carolina, as well as an MBA from Southern Methodist.
Desperate to pay off his student loans, this guy took to Craigslist to post the ad for your newfound education.
A few questions I have for Patty: Are you sure you’re not overvaluing that Coastal Carolina degree a little bit? The SMU Cox MBA degree might be worth around $100K, but that leaves me with around $80K I’m investing in an undergraduate degree. Also, what do you mean by “I am selling my paper degrees, all knowledge, all certifications, and designations that come with my education?” I understand that I will receive these paper degrees, but how does the rest of it work out? Will I now only be as smart as you?
Seems like some sketchy shit for when I go to an interview at the ripe age of 21 already holding an MBA and multiple certifications and designations. Sure, I may be able to bullshit my way out of most things, but I’m pretty sure employers do background checks to make sure you were actually enrolled in the whole school thing. So why do I want to buy it?
This guy will prove to be a genius if some idiot actually buys them. He’ll still have his degrees, and he’ll be richer and out of debt..

11 years ago at 11:51 amHe’d have to be pretty smart to figure out how to transfer his education and knowledge to you. So you’d be pretty smart if you got those things.

You know what the sad thing is? This is going to end up going viral, and some idiot is actually going to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for some sheets of paper. I hate society.
11 years ago at 8:04 pmHello Mr Lee,
Let me answer those questions you posed in your article.
1) The value of my Coastal Carolina education goes far beyond the paper degree. I also was a revered athlete at Coastal Carolina and was inducted in the athletics Hall of Fame in 2013. If I transfer my education and all my athletic achievements that would bump up the value a tad. Nevertheless, $80k is still a substantial price to pay for an undergraduate degree. But the price to party for four years without worry has to come at a premium, right? I’m willing to negotiate!
2) We’ll work work with the universities to transfer the actual degrees, coursework, etc. to you. After all, I do own the education. Maybe I’ll change my legal name to match the owner and have the paper degrees updated to reflect the new name? lol In all seriousness this will probably go nowhere but hey it’s worth a shot, right?

11 years ago at 12:15 pmThe point was that Coastal Carolina is bottom-rung, shit school. Their degrees aren’t worth very much. Playing sports there doesn’t change that.
