Awesome New Series To Revolutionize How We're Entertained

In a digital age, where the youngest generation increasingly prefers speed to detail, and smartphones to TV, producer Peter Chernin is revolutionizing the way we watch our favorite programs. Growing up in a world where information and entertainment are available to us instantly has not only made waiting a week to catch up with our favorite shows’ casts torturous, but it may even be making that method of viewing obsolete. If you don’t have seven whole days to care about someone other than yourself, don’t blame your ego, blame your attention span, and subsequently, technology. We want the raw, unedited updates as they happen, and we want them brought to us on our pink, bedazzley-cased, handheld, iPhone operating systems.

The experimental, multimedia series, @SummerBreak, will provide just that to its followers. Launching June 17, the series will follow a group of high school kids as they party their way through their last summer in LA before college. The cast is comprised of four gorgeous girls, and five sexy guys, whom I’m hoping have all turned 18 already, or shit is about to get weird for me. The wild crew is set out to make the most of the best summer of their lives. From sunny days on California beaches, to romance at sunset, to crazy summer nights, they’re set out to share as much of their experience as possible with their audience as soon as it happens.

Short video clips of the outrageous, beautiful bunch will be released daily on YouTube, within 24 hours of being filmed by a video crew. This leaves no time to edit in drama, creating fake storylines for effect, meaning everything you see will be exactly as it played out. A comprehensive recap will air weekly, and the audience is encouraged to follow the awesome cast (Clara, Alex, Nia, Lena, Kostas, Zaq, Trevis, Ray, and Connor) on Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, and Vine to get the most out of the experience, and to fill themselves in on everything in between. It’s an incredible and innovative concept, that will completely transform the way we watch reality TV — in fact, it’s not reality TV, it’s real. Real kids, in real time, with real experiences, and it looks really fucking awesome.

Follow the incredible experience now on Twitter, Instagram, and Tumblr, acquaint yourself with the mischievous cast, and tune in June 17 to become a part of entertainment history in the making.
