Bacon Goes On CNN HLN To Discuss Greek Life’s Media Portrayal After OU SAE

  1. Rockefeller

Bacon said some pretty good things. Too bad you were thrown in with some geed and a member of a ‘black’ fraternity to make it out like african americans can’t be members of ‘normal’ fraternities and to kind of put you in a minority situation. What SAE did was awful, but holy shit these people need to find something else better to do than attempting to portray fraternities and sororities as the last bastion of inequality still in our country. Fucking sickening

That guy in the middle was your typical pretentious anti-greek douche. The “I went to a frat party once so I pretty much understand greek life” guy. Why the fuck are these people allowed to talk about fraternities like they actually know anything about them?

I agree he is a douche and fuck his opinion. However the reason he was there is that is how news pannles are usually put together these days. They want to have differing opinions on whatever subject they are talking about, even if one side will be blatantly wrong (usually NOT the case although it was here). Did I mention fuck the guy in the middle? Yeah fuck him.

Well, they were trying to make it seem like the whole greek system is at fault and should be dismantled, so they probably thought Bacon was the guy who was blatantly wrong.

If your name wasn’t “Cockmeatsandwich,” I would definitely take this more seriously.

I was waiting for a “Fuck her right in the pussy!” Way to take the high road.

First, please make the distinction between a secretive ritual (most of which are rooted in Judeo-Christian and chivalric values), and idiots doing idiot things that have absolutely nothing to do with with the rituals our fraternal ancestors constructed and passed down. Our confidential rituals do not teach misogyny. They do not teach racism. They do not teach bing drinking. They do not teach how to throw ragers on a Friday night.

If you want to criticize the failings of man that are present in both Greeks and GDIs, fine. But spare me the bullshit that this is somehow caused by our “secrecy”.

Yeah I’ve heard my university’s SAE chapter say this exact same chant. Do I think any of them are actually racist? No, I honestly believe they just think it’s funny. I don’t agree with them just making a statement that OU is not the only ones saying it.

Fuck me, no one in the media actually cares about what SAE did or did not say or what goes on in other chapters across the nation. This is just an excuse for liberals to advance their agenda of demolishing Greek life, and the worst part about it is that TFM is cooperating 100%. Rather than joining this pity parade, maybe stand up for individuals’ right to associate freely, to say what they want when they want without the permission of their local Social Justice Warrior. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t agree with anything OU SAE said or did, but the subsequent response, especially from TFM, has been nothing short of tail-between the legs pathetic.

I’m surprised Bacon didn’t interrupt the conversation and shamelessly push Rowdy Gentleman and Man Outfitters products down the interviewer’s throat.
