^Agree. For those not from the great state of Texas, POCO Bueno is the “Super Bowl” of Saltwater fishing tournaments. Nothing is more Frat than paying 45k and up to Calcutta 1/2 your boat and then to fish for Blue Marlin off your 1-3 million deep sea yacht. The guys in that pic took home between 600k and 1.3 million depending on if they bought the other half of their boat. This is one of the most FaF things on this site.
Also, the guy in the cargo trunks is obviously a deckhand or the captain. I would guess captain since he’s in the winning teams pic. If you captain a winning POCO team you are TFTC and can wear cargos if you want.
I know nothing about this tournament whatsoever, but with that being said I can’t imagine theyd be fishing off yachts, especially going from the boat in the picture (granted that could just be a random boat).
Id still love to go deep sea fishing for that much money though regardless
I use the term Yacht to mean 60+ foot boats that have a galley and sleeping quarters below deck. Obviously they are set up for deep see fishing. it’s a pretty common setup. Something like what’s pictured in the photo in this link. http://www.alltackle.com/south_carolina_charters.htm
I can live with some people wearing cargo shorts if they are doing something such as this. If your not wearing pfg or any fishing attire, the pockets could actually be useful.
