Bernie Sanders Is Lazy And Unfit To Be President, According To Book

Bernie Sanders Is Lazy And Unfit To Be President

For once, I’m not going to argue against Bernie and his politics. I’m not going to talk about the economic downside of a socialist country. I’m not going into detail about how Sweden, one of the countries Bernie likes to point to, was actually doing the opposite of a socialist economy while Fredrik Reinfeldt was in office. Nope, the one reason that Bernie Sanders is unfit to be the next president of the United States boils down to one character flaw: his laziness.

Kate Daloz grew up near the Myrtle Hill Farm commune in Vermont and had the opportunity to write a book on the commune, titled “We Are As Gods.” In the book set to be released on April 26, she chronicled the story of a 1971 visitor to the commune: the 30-year-old Bernie Sanders who was there to research an article on natural childbirth. However, it seemed that during his short time, he spent most it talking about politics and not doing any work.

From Free Beacon:

When not reporting on the miracle of life, Sanders spent his time at Myrtle Hill in “endless political discussion,” according to Daloz.

Sanders’ idle chatter did not endear him with some of the commune’s residents, who did the backbreaking labor of running the place. Daloz writes that one resident, Craig, “resented feeling like he had to pull others out of Bernie’s orbit if any work was going to get accomplished that day.”

Sanders was eventually asked to leave. “When Bernie had stayed for Myrtle’s allotted three days, Craig politely requested that he move on,” Daloz writes.

Do we really want someone in office who can’t even put in three days of work? This isn’t some entry-level job where consultant Joe can shoot the shit at the water cooler for hours every day, doing zero work while waiting for his next client. This isn’t some intro to stats class where you can skip every day and then get the notes from someone else.

We’re talking about the president of the greatest country in the world. No time to be lazy when ISIS is chomping at the bit and the middle class is shrinking with each passing day. Leaders aren’t inherently lazy.
