Don’t quite understand why TKE is nationally hated… As well with pike or any other fraternity.. Just because they have a bad rep at your school doesn’t necessarily mean so nationally. Every fraternity has their shitty chapters. TKE’s slogan is “if you can’t go greek go Teke” because they were the only fraternity around at the time that wasn’t discriminating. Not that I give a fuck, just attempting to clarify. But at the end of the day, Rush anything, below a pair of nice tits, is pretty fucking fratty.
If there are this many negative comments from people from different universities, it can be said with confidence that TKE sucks ass at most every college.
Its funny how much TKE relies on one man to redeem themselves. If I see a TKE (wearing cargo shorts, oakleys, and Nike Air’s as usual) and call him a geed, his reaction will be: RONALD REAGAN RONALD REGAN RONALD REAGAN!

^ No. As cool as I think you are, there is literally no way any fraternity can top Sigma Chi’s list of influential alumni. Except maybe DKE, but fuck those guys. Half of TKE’s “alumni” are guys they just decided to initiate that never pledged a day in their life – Aaron Rodgers, anybody?
No compare. Sigma Chi gets close, but then again i’m biased. TKE is responsible for the NFL, Hooters, Starbucks, Walgreens, Hilton Hotels, and way too many other organizations/companies to list. We have CEO’s in Verizion, Goodyear Tires, Time, Chrysler, Home Depot, hell even Colgate toothpaste. For actors/athletes? Willie Nelson, Les Paul, Elvis, Terry Bradshaw (Fuck the steelers though), Phil Simms, again the list is too long to put everything down.
TKE is a fucking joke. Anybody can talk about famous alums or “flagship” chapters — but at the end of the day all you need to do is check out your local TKE chapter and 9 times out of 10 you’ll find that niether of those things matter because hot sluts don’t want to party there, and guys don’t want to rush there.
FUN FACT: Elvis never went to college, neither did the Everly Brothers or Les Paul. So when making the argument that they have relatively few honorary initiates and then to have your most famous “Alumni” all be them, just makes your argument less valid and you even more gay. Another fun fact, look up all the major fraternities and you will find CEO’s of fortune five hundred companies and entrepreneurs of other major companies, so shut up. You think we’re impressed that Gregory E. Pyle, Chief of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma is a TKE? Or the former president of the NAACP for that matter? TKE will always suck, and sorry there is nothing you can do about it.
The list remains, and the fact remains- we have the best alumni. But honestly, who cares right? I honestly don’t, as i’ll be landing a private equity job out of college thanks to my house and of course, my credentials. As for ^Dunce #1, and ^^Dunce #2, both of you go to smaller, less respectable universities with no alumni connections, little to no female contact on a daily basis, and in the scheme of things you’ll be unclogging the corporate shitter at work while people like me and a select few others here on TFM make the big boy decisions. Now go put your bitch hats back on, and I don’t want to hear another outbreak like that again or you’re both getting demoted to moving boxes with pablo downstairs.
^^ Allow me to apologize for the hardness of trying of at least one of my brothers, but the point they make is sort of valid. That list looks nice on paper, but how many of those honorary initiates (and there are a lot, let’s just be honest now) could tell you anything about TKE, recite your creed, cardinal principles, etc? Those aren’t the kind of alumni that are going to get you anywhere. TKE is supposed to be pretty good at UGA, and that’s cool – but if your alumni help you out, it’s going to be successful ones from your chapter and most likely not other chapters.
The reason people hate TKE so much on TFM is because most everyone on this site is from smaller places with shit greek life. The fraternity has lots of chapters at small schools, but for the most part the chapters at larger schools are ok.
