During Hurricane Katrina, 99% of the power went out in New Orleans. My estate was the 1%, so I watched Band of Brothers in my basement movie theater. TFM.
there are no basements in new orleans… its below sea level. Ever been to a louisiana cemetery? The graves are above ground because if you buried the bodies below ground they could rise during a flood. You are an idiot and a liar
Actually there are raised basements under some of the estates along Versailles Blvd. and others through-ought uptown, mid-city and other areas above sea level. The basements are at ground level while the rest of the house is above them. Also if any of you had ever been to New Orleans you would know that approximately 45% of the city is above sea level. Most of those areas are inhabited by middle-upper class so therefore if the poster is actually from New Orleans and is as wealthy as he claims it is possible for him to have a basement.
