I don’t know if those guys are in a fraternity or not, but I hope they are not. It is things like this that are alienating people from greek life. Someone help the drunk guy go home, he couldn’t hardly stand. What the fuck is wrong with these people. It is like the unpopular kid in high school being picked on at a much higher level. Every person just standing there should be ashamed. I don’t care how drunk the guy is or what kind of scene he is making, you do not treat another human being like that, and then they start pouring beer all over him? I hope everyone they can identify gets expelled. This is horse shit. If he was a pledge and was being hazed the fraternity is doing it out in public and should be suspended at least. Hazing with alcohol is dumb, hazing with wall sits is perfect. Good luck in jail if he was hurt, and enjoy being GDI’s to everyone identified as greek in that video.

It was just a typical weekend day drink at an off campus apartment complex. You think this is bad? You should see the people getting wrecked on Blarney by glass bottles and chunks of ice.
I have seen way worse, and me and my brothers have beaten guys for less. The fact that people think any level of this is ok is why we have so many problems in this country. It isn’t funny and it isn’t ok. Put yourself in their shoes, would you want people to do that to you for any reason? The severity is irrelevant. I don’t care how many people give me laps, these people are disgusting human beings and several should spend a couple nights in jail. The rest should seriously rethink their life, there were hundreds of people just watching and participating. The bystander effect is a terrible reaction to the persecution of others.
It is appalling to me how people don’t understand that by liking, upvoting, and laughing at things like this they are a part of the problem. If you cannot stand up for someone that is being singled out like this and would rather be in the crowd heckling, then you are not a fraternity man, you are a boy and need to go back to highschool to grow the fuck up.

I, unlike you people laughing at this guy, have had my balls drop a long time ago. Do not tell me I cannot comment when no one will say anything negative about this bullshit video. I mean, I’m also with you purely out of a humanitarian aspect. I was a lifeguard for years, and one of the first things we did every year was train the bystander effect out of the staff, so I’ve always been inclined toward helping someone out in situations like this too. Nevermind that it’s just the right thing to do.
