Bruce Pearl Sits In Dunk Tank For Auburn Pi Kapp’s Philanthropy, Is Awesome

Bruce Pearl’s employment seems like it’s going swimmingly thus far. (Get it?)

The newly hired Auburn basketball coach teamed up with Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity at Auburn earlier this week for their philanthropy, Push America.

Pi Kapp’s philanthropy, located outside Auburn’s student center, looked to raise money and awareness for individuals with disabilities. Pearl seemed more than happy to go shirtless for the cause. Going shirtless for things he’s passionate about is sort of Pearl’s M.O.

The 54-year-old, who was hired just over two weeks ago, has already made a number of appearances around Auburn’s campus. Pearl has always been known for his approachability, but reports have shown he went above and beyond last month, purchasing pizza for “several hundred students.” Thank God it wasn’t BBQ, right NCAA?

I’d say he’s adjusting to his new job well. But with $14.7 million over the next six years, I’d be willing to shed my shirt and show off my painfully average dad body to a crowd of college students.

Why shouldn’t this guy be having fun and showing off his man-boobs? It’s the off-season, cut him a break.
