Business Insider Releases List Of “Most Fun Colleges” In America, Number One Is NOT What You’d Expect
If someone tries to tell you that going to college is about getting an education, that someone is a lying son of a bitch. College is about three things: partying, girls, and finding a way to graduate while attending class as infrequently as possible. If you have these three things, college will be fun. So, which colleges are the most fun in America? Business Insider decided to answer that question and rank them for you. Check out the top 20:
20. Miami University (OH)
19. Auburn University
18. Bucknell University
17. University Of Kansas
16. Lehigh University
15. University Of Wisconsin
14. Southern Methodist University
13. University Of Florida
12. UC Santa Barbara
11. University Of Illinois
10. Vanderbilt University
9. West Virginia University
8. Florida State University
7. Kansas State University
6. Virginia Tech
5. University Of Iowa
4. Tulane University
3. Syracuse University
2. Penn State University
1. Clemson University
Arizona State oddly missing? Tulane at number four? Kansas State coming in at seven? No offense to the KSU guys I met on 6th Street this past weekend, but there’s no way in hell that Kansas State is one of the most fun colleges in America. This list is complete horse shit.
How did Business Insider create this list? Well, the method to its madness was pretty simple: the company took a bunch of Princeton Review rankings and put weights on each. The higher the point total, the higher the rank on the list. These are the rankings Business Insider used from the Princeton Review:
Their Students Love These Colleges
Students Study the Least
Everyone Plays Intramural Sports
Best Athletic Facilities
Party Schools
Jock Schools
Lots of Hard Liquor
Lots of Beer
Lots of Greek Life
College City Gets High Marks
Happiest Students
Best Quality of Life
Fuck this list. I’m going to make my own..
