California Politician Claims Global Warming Will Turn Women Into Prostitutes

April 1 is next week, right? We aren’t getting punked right now, are we? It’s amazing what comes out of some people’s mouths these days. As if global warming wasn’t enough of a hot topic. I once read that Christie Hefner thought global warming was the cause for the rising gun murder rate in Chicago.

Now, we have Barbara Lee (D-CA) who said that global warming will cause women to turn to prostitution to obtain all the life essentials like food and water. On Wednesday, she proposed a new resolution in the House of Representatives to bring this issue to light.

From Breibart:

Lee introduced House Concurrent Resolution 29, warning that women will be forced into “transactional sex” to get enough food and clean water — all because global warming will create “conflict and instability” in the world.

“Women will disproportionately face harmful impacts from climate change,” Lee’s resolution reads. It continues claiming, “Food insecure women with limited socioeconomic resources may be vulnerable to situations such as sex work, transactional sex, and early marriage that put them at risk for HIV, STIs, unplanned pregnancy, and poor reproductive health.”

I’m struggling to find the correlation here. Here are a few things I can see global warming being blamed for in the near future:

1) Florida Georgia Line continuing to make music.
2) The fall of the SEC in football.
3) Kentucky’s perfect season.
4) Deflategate.

I think Bill Engvall said it best to all these folks who don’t really think things through.

Barbara, here’s your sign.

So global warming. The way I see it we get a warmer planet and now apparently prostitutes too? Let’s keep polluting.

God dammit. Fucktards like this woman are one of the main reasons people aren’t taking climate change seriously. Climate change is a serious issue, but when you spew bat-shit insane verbal diarrhea like this, people will discredit all real concerns along with the bullshit ones

I’m pretty sure people spewing stuff this crazy are not the main reason people don’t take climate change seriously. There are far other dumber reasons. Anyone who changes their mind on climate change because of something like this is just plan stupid. One reason, for example, is when people fucking call it ‘global warming’. That needs to fucking stop because then idiots can say; “look it is snowing, global warming isn’t real, (more) CO2 in the atmosphere isn’t a problem at all!” Then other idiots believe them.

If that’s the effect of global warming, please excuse me while I go start my truck.

I have killed many animals and mounted them as trophies; moose, bear, etc. But there was one that evaded me for years. But now I have found it. The elusive try-hard, having suffered for generations from inbreeding, poor habitat and nutrition, and an odd penchant for trying to show every living creature how frat it was. Today, I shall add to my collection, and assist nature by removing a cancerous, diseased tumor of over-compensation and a desperation to fit in, despite the fact that the try hard is not welcome in this natural setting. So the sun shall set, thankfully, on a species better suited to providing matter for a compost pile.

I mean I can see her point. Heat does make you do crazy things. How else can you explain some of the things that happen in Florida? These Floridians should be examined as a case study or something.

Climate change is happening, and it’s not us. The climate has always changed, and even now post ice age the Earth has been in a historically cold period. There was a time when one palm trees could grown in Boston (if they were around during that time). So yes, the climate is changing, it’s not us, and there’s nothing we can do but adapt. Government is seizing on this and using it to scare us into giving them more power. But that’s not the answer. Free market driven adaptation is. There’s plenty of other legitimate claims to people negatively impacting the environment, deforestation, species displacement, poaching. But this climate scare isn’t one of them.

The general consensus in the scientific community believes global warming is man made. In fact, the Intergovernmental Committee on Climate Change has determined that this is ‘extremely likely’ (95% or above chance). I also believe that the earths climate goes in cycles, but we are VERY rapidly speeding up the process to an unnatural level.

Except for the fact that every model that these agencies produce, fails. If you listened to the predictions in the 70’s when this hysteria really first began, Manhattan was supposed to be uninhabitable by now.

You have to consider your source. When most of these scientific organizations are funded by governments, of course they are going to churn out the results the government wants. The idea of man made climate change is a dream come true for the UN, and individual governments the world over. Whistleblowers within the climatological community have admitted that there is enormous pressure to confirm that climate change is man made. When they can’t confirm it, they default to, sure, it’s man made.

Additionally, back in the 70’s, people warned that the environmental movement would be hijacked by ideological communists. I was at the climate march in NYC. It was Young Communists this, Communist Women of America that. That wasn’t me labeling them either. I just read their shirts and their signs. It’s not about environmentalism. It’s about giving government more control over the economy and the means of productions. It’s a bullshit farce.
