My Dad: "The only Woodstock I knew in '69 was the butt of my M14." TFM.

Obviously, but people who write the “my dad” posts are pathetic so this needs to be hazed.

BrotherOmicron, just because your father isn’t worth looking up to as a hero that served his country does not give you the right to bash a gentleman’s father that decided to serve in Vietnam. Your vag father raising little vaginas like you is what is wrong with this country.

Reread his reply Southern, he agreed that any man who serves is cool. However, I agree with his intent, however badly conveyed it was. Be your own man, be proud of your father, but bragging about things he has done….just no. And you’re no better making fun of another’s father for no apparent reason. Get the sand out of your vag.

Success, he said this post should be hazed. It does not. In no way is this post bragging out his father like many other TFMs do regarding allowances, jobs, money, etc. It is a great quote from a father that is a hero for serving his country at a time when the majority of Americans were being lazy hippies.

Serving your country is honorable to the max. If you have half a brain you will understand the context of my post. With that said…

      Pike NF
      “My dad….” NF

This is likely fake, judging from the fact that M14’s weren’t standard issue at the time. If not, good post.

I agree. Men are posting to many “My Dad is FAF beacause…” posts to sound Frat themselves, but this is a solid post.
      Fuck hippies.

You’re all wrong the M16 became Army standard issue in 1964 and the AR15 was standard issue to Special Forces in later 64

Guys, even though weapons may become standard issue on paper at a particular date doesn’t always mean this was fact in real life. This is true of a number of National Guard/ Reservist units as the DoD has a pecking order of all military units and who has the greatest need for new weapons and equipment. Having PoS equipment that’s older than your dad in the military is not an uncommon thing

M16 was out then, but jammed too easily. M14 could be completely submerged in water, sand, etc and fired anytime. A single grain of sand fucked with the M16.
