Chipper Jones Saves Freddie Freeman From Snowy Atlanta Traffic On An ATV
A few days ago we talked about how Chipper Jones’ post retirement life, the one he’s spending hunting giant deer and banging out a Playboy model, is pretty, PRETTY, PRETTY good. But, maybe, that post made Chipper seem a little, I don’t know, selfish? Maybe not, but it certainly didn’t illustrate the kinder, more generous parts of the former Atlanta Braves third baseman’s life. For example, Chipper Jones is also a great friend.
Yesterday, while the Atlanta area was dealing with A SUPER MASSIVE ARCTIC MEGA BLIZZARD some snow, current Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman got stuck in traffic, like pretty much every single other person within a hundred miles of the city. Chipper, being the kind and heroic man that he is, kissed his Playboy model girlfriend goodbye, hopped on an ATV, and braved the storm to rescue poor Freddie. What ensued was a harrowing and heartwarming tale of friendship and awkward two-man, small vehicle rides.
Going on 5 and a half hours in this traffic! Atlanta traffic is the worst but then you add snow…woah!!

Of course Chipper Jones is the one guy in Atlanta actually prepared for the storm. With his 4-wheeler fleet, mass venison stores, and cache of weapons, it’s really only a matter of time before Chipper rises above the chaos of the wintry south and declares himself a warlord, and you southerners will all bow to him, rightfully so.
As for the ride itself, I have no doubt Freddie enjoyed it. As any Braves fan knows, the guy loves a good hug.
Google “Freddie Freeman hug” and you can find like a hundred more of those, at least.
