Club Applebee’s is All the Rage in the South
America’s number one family neighborhood restaurant is now your one-stop shop for everything you need in life. After you head up there with your buds in the early evening to enjoy a cold one or two after work, slam some mozzarella sticks and sliders, you can just settle in and wait for the Club Applebee’s transformation and rage your face off.
We’re talkin’ pounding shots, chicks dancing on the bar and suckfacin’ each other type of raging.
In the South, particularly in Florida, some Applebee’s restaurants stop being your “Neighborhood Grill and Bar” after 10 p.m. and turn into nightclubs until closing at 2 a.m. The lights go down. The music goes up. People start dancing in their booths, the aisles, and eventually on the bar.
Club Applebee’s nights look as if they’re boosting late-night alcohol sales. After 10 p.m., the bars often switch from proper glassware to red plastic cups — the universal indicator of “we’re expecting you to get drunk.” About 100 Applebee’s joints are also late night clubs, according to senior VP-beverages, Brian Masilionis.
Club ‘Bees obviously isn’t part of their family-friendly marketing campaign, but they do actually have a website that details which ‘Bees allow you to get your swerve on after the lights go down.
