    The news broke a bit before midnight on May 1st, but by the time I made it down to Ground Zero, it was past midnight hence why I wrote May 2nd.

    I’m fairly certain he was killed on May 1st though.

      He was killed a few days prior to May 1st. They just didn’t want to announce it until the DNA tests came back confirming it was really Bin Laden. But to me it doesn’t matter what day it happened, just that it finally did. God bless America.
