This looks borderline abusive and illegal on the cops part. And thank God the kids were white, otherwise we could’ve been seeing another “abusive racist cop” using violence towards black kids.
The hand around the neck is pretty unnecessary in my opinion. He could have got the kid on his stomach and from there get on his back. I’m not saying the kid isn’t a jackass, he undoubtedly is, I’m saying this cop took it too far.
The cop must think through his actions to the best of his ability, but in reality that time is not very long. A cop has to do what will keep him and others safe
If someone has been resisting arrest it not exactly easy to just throw them too their stomach. So a, he choke slams him or b, he gets the taser. I don’t know about you but I would much rather be thrown to the ground.
Seems fine to me. The second dirtbag was starting shit with everyone. Was huddling over the cop and pushing other kids. Not an ideal situation for a cop, being surrounded by 50 drunk kids.
