Crazy Lady Posts Facebook Rant Claiming Miami SAEs Trashed Her Lake, All Evidence Says She’s Full Of Shit
When we advise our chapters that there are people in this world who are bound and determined to take us down, it’s not an empty threat. This nation is filled with nutcases stuffed full with hatred of fraternities, fueled by a lifetime of jealousy and news reports. They exist, and they will do their absolute best to wreck you. We discovered one such idiot after receiving a tip regarding a Facebook rant involving Miami University’s SAE chapter.
Despite evidence to the contrary, the administrator of the Norris Lake Reviews Facebook page is not happy with the actions of some Miami University SAE members during their spring break trip. The problem with her ranting is the evidence doesn’t match the accusations or level of anger. To be blunt, it appears as if this person has waited for this moment for quite a while. Thanks to a few of her comments, we are certain that she holds no prejudices against Greek members.

This house was told by the Miami Student that they were 28 years old and there were 15 people. Notice the dock is almost submerged and the kid on the dock roof.

It wasn’t long after the posts hit the page that the local idiots came out to play.
Welcome to a nation of ignorance. If this woman has the damning evidence that she claims, she has suspiciously refused to post it. The trash can be handled in ten minutes. Five if you have pledges do it. The docks were not anywhere near going under. Where is the problem, woman?!
According to several commenters, the university and nationals have been contacted. Let’s hope they take this for what it is — a nutcase busybody with a hollow sense of self-worth..

I might be a little biased being raised to be a good steward of the outdoors, but if nothing else 45 minutes is also a lot less time than it’s going to take to now defend your actions. The image of Fraternities is pretty shitty and common sense would tell you that no fucking shit leaving your garbage at a place in plain view of others is probably going to create a negative image.

This lady clearly acting over-dramatic for no apparent reason, maybe some unknown agenda. Nonetheless, it would of been easy for a large group like that to do a clean up sweep of their place. Whenever my fraternity went on trips like this, whoever’s name was linked to the deposit & the last initiated pledge class were responsible for cleaning, but usually more Brothers would stay and help a little.

I’m not gonna call myself an environmentalist but with the amount of time I spend outdoors I don’t leave trash laying around outside and I don’t like seeing other people do it either. This really just promotes the stereotype that people in Greek life don’t give a shit about anything. Like the other guys said, it would’ve taken 30 minutes to clean up and then this whole thing would’ve been avoided.

As a brother of the founding chapter at Alabama, I think I speak for my entire chapter when I say nobody here would bat an eye at some trash left on the ground. Yeah, the wise thing to do would’ve been to take 15 minutes to clean it up, but these people need to get their panties out of a wad and get over the fact that we’re having more fun then they ever did.

I just wanted to take a minute to THANK YOU for something you may not even realize you’ve done. We were in **** all last weekend with kids for a basketball tourney. While at a game, ***** received a text with a picture of MANY College kids partying on our dock. We try so hard to screen WHO rents our house but sometimes it’s impossible when parents lie for their teenage children. I think we may have to result in asking for them to send us a copy of their ID….anyway. We sent our house manager over there as well as called the police. Apparently the kids left our dock and went somewhere else. Upon having a gal check the house over, it was TRASHED, as you can imagine….broken window, broken door, broken door frame, among other things. It then became a pain in the ass for *****, who is already swamped, to spend hours on the phone from 5 hours away getting Stanley Steamer in there (cuz we had renters coming in this week) as well as numerous other guys in there to give estimates on what it will cost to fix the damage. Damage is totaling around $3500.00 or more. My blood is BOILING as he is telling me this story last night….just livid!!! Then he proceeds to tell me that he received a phone call yesterday afternoon from like the Dean of Student Services (and don’t quote me as I could be totally wrong on the “title”) who said they had talked to you who gave them information. The guy from Miami was extremely nice and said they will be looking into the matter and WILL HOLD the boys responsible and ******* will get his $ back that he spends on getting everything replaced and fixed! It may take time but they will see that those boys are held responsible. SOOOOO, to make a long story short, I appreciate that we ALL have to have each other’s backs down there. We all have to look out for each others stuff and property! So THANK YOU FOR DOING THAT and thank you for being proactive. the university to see that this kind of action/behavior DOES not go unnoticed or without reprimand.

I go to Miami and everyone knows that SAE is full of degenerates who provide nothing positive to the greek community (not affiliated with IFC at the moment) and school whatsoever. With all of the bad press Greeks have been getting lately its stupid to support this fraternity because they are 100% part of the problem.
