Dick Clark Leaves A Cool Million For DKE In His Will

Old man Dick Clark passed away last April at the age of 82 and went up to that big fraternity party in the sky — a party that he’s surely going to take by the balls. Let’s be honest, he’s probably the emcee. However, we are now learning that he wants ensure the party keeps rocking among his living Delta Kappa Epsilon brothers as well.

Ole Dick earmarked $1,000,000 to be left for DKE nationals.

From TMZ:

According to legal docs filed by the Clark Estate trustees, Dick gave the loot to the Delta Kappa Epsilon Foundation in New York, which handles finances for the frat’s chapters around the country.

Dick passed away last April … and various money issues are still being hashed out.

FYI, Clark was a DKE bro while he attended Syracuse University from 1947-1951.

I always have to chuckle when an out-of-touch publication like this reports on anything related to a fraternity matter. These lazy, half-hearted attempts at “bro” humor are just so lame that I tend to enjoy them. In the above three quoted sentences, this TMZ writer manages to work in a “frat” and a “bro,” then later closes the article with the classic Animal House “Toga! Toga! Toga! Toga!” chant.

Nice article, bro.

And good on you, Dick. That was a generous contribution.
