This week doesn’t look promising. I’m calling he loses LSU and TTech. Stanford is a solid bet, as well as Clemson. New Mexico is too much of a crap shoot.
you think LSU can still cover with 3 starters out, including their heisman candidate? I think that probably pushed the line a little bit when that news broke.
a few picks of my own since Dick apparently isn’t even trying anymore:
Over: KSU (+11) at KU… KSU is on a roll and KU sucks. Bill Snyder has a habit of embarrassing KU and KU’s only “hope” this season was a 30pt. loss to OU. pathetic.
Over: OSU (+6.5) at Mizzou… OSU had a rough week of practice after their shitty game vs UT and are going to take it all out on MU. MU played well last week but not well enough to lose by less than a TD to OSU.
Over: Wiscy (+6) at Michigan State. Wisconsin has dominated everyone and MSU’s only -real- win was vs Michigan. There’s no way Wisconsin wins by less than a touchdown.
Statistically, if you took all the higher ranked teams every pick, you would still only win half of the time. It just so happens that these lines are way closer than they should be (undoubtedly because the ranked teams are all the away teams).
You obviously have no idea how betting works and are just bitter because you go to KU.
Brononia_Docet, you didn’t even post the spreads correctly. All the three teams you took should have a – next to the number. You obviously have no fucking idea what you’re doing. The Wisconsin pick is a good one though.
Actually the away team is always posted on the left, home team on the right, and the spread is a – if the home team is favored, and + if the away team is favored. I can see where you might misconstrue what I was trying to say, and I think its odd too, but that’s how it is supposed to be read.
Nice call on the Michigan State game GDI. Check Bret Bielama’s record on the road and Russel Wilson’s god awful road play before you try and make sure calls. MSU takes down 2 Heisman candidates two weeks in a row!
All out of four-figure wagers with your pledge brothers?
14 years ago at 7:35 pmDick once made a four-figure wager with a pledge brother on who you put the biggest object in their mouth without gagging. They both won.

Really genius you took all the higher ranked teams, what tough picks.
14 years ago at 1:32 am^Does no one on this site understand how spreads work?

14 years ago at 8:04 pm^It’s unfortunate that there was a loser to that game. That was hands down the best game in college football this season.
14 years ago at 8:06 pm^ I was there. I concur
14 years ago at 3:21 pmLike the not so subtle digs at Tech and OU. It’s 9:40 and OU still sucks.
