      Barbecue- Brisket,ribs, and whole hog pulled pork. Smoked low and slow and covered in a sauce that is unique to certain regions.

      Cook-Out- An event you have that involves cooking hamburgers, hot dogs and other tasty animals on a grill.

      Barbecue: Meat cooked with low, indirect heat over a long period of time, usually mixed with a sauce.

      High, direct heat is reserved for grilling.
