VIDEO: Donald Trump Might Actually Be A Solid Golfer

Trump has been pretty vocal about his golfing abilities, claiming to carry a sub-four handicap and calling out Obama. But I had never seen any footage to back up his claims until now.

Thanks to this video — taken during a 2010 outing on the Trump National Gold Club Los Angeles with boxer Oscar De La Hoya and George Lopez — the proof is in the pudding. Trump’s got skills.

Oscar was impressed.

From TMZ Sports:

“I’m actually very surprised that he hit his tee shot so close to the pin because that was his first shot of the day,” Oscar said … “What does that tell you? He’s a great golfer.”

It’s a very different story than the one Oscar told this week, which is that Trump cheated throughout the friendly match. But TMZ says that Trump couldn’t have cheated even if he wanted to. The shot in the video above is apparently the only shot Trump took that day — he left immediately afterwards. Power moves only..
