Drunken Canadian Minor League Hockey Fan Jumps Onto The Ice, Immediately Becomes King of Arena

Rushing the field is an art. Sure, you can jump on, run across until security tackles you and then go away peacefully. Or you can take inspiration from this hockey fan and savor every single moment of it, and make yourself national treasure in the process.

That’s what happened Wednesday night at the game between the Mississauga Steelheads and the Guelph Storm of the Ontario Hockey League (which sounds like a top five source of Canadian felonies, both in the stands and on the ice). With roughly six minutes to go in the second period and 20 minutes to go until last call, this ambitious fan decided to hurdle a pane of glass (which is impressive in and of itself) and jump onto the ice. It should be noted, he sticks the landing when transitioning from glass to ice. Was it drunken ability? Natural Canadian ice prowess? God sparing him from certain and deserved death because this Molson soaked angel is destined for greater things? It feels like the last one, to be honest.
