Elton John Sucks at Soccer?

Last week the photo below was posted on TFM in the Photo section. Apparently, a fraternity thought it would be funny to display a banner stating that “Obama is a GDI” during a campus visit from our Commander in Chief. I have to agree, it is pretty funny.

Today, a photo surfaced of a response from some GDI who didn’t find the banner as hilarious as I did.

Distasteful? How so? The members of the fraternity that made this sign were simply stating a fact: “Obama is a GDI.” That isn’t an opinion. Obama isn’t a fraternity man therefore he is a GDI. Nobody said anything about prerequisites for being the leader of the free world. I can only assume the sign they will create to greet Elton John will read: “Elton John is gay.” Again, this would be stating a matter of fact. If you said, “Mr. John what is your sexual orientation?” he would respond, “Elton John is gay.” Everyone knows Elton John is gay and only refers to himself in the third person. Furthermore, everyone knows it is tradition for all fraternities across the country to display banners with random, nonbiased facts about campus visitors to help inform the general public. We are just trying to educate America.

Thank you so much for spreading awareness that Obama doesn’t receive financial compensation for being a “bro.” Nobody is paid to be “bro,” because that doesn’t mean anything. There is no distinct characteristic that makes someone “bro.” I don’t care who you are, nobody is going to pay you for being an average American male and possessing the ability to “chill.”

In closing, Elton John is the gay Pelé.

all but 3 presidents since 1825 have been in a fraternity, so yes i would say it is a requirement.

the only people talking bad about this are people in other fraternities at penn state and they keep calling their shit “frats.” It’s easy to see that Penn state=NFaF.

However, this move by signu is FaF

Who is the idiot who made the comment before this? Do you think VMI or Penn State is in the South or out West? If you think North is referred to as Canada, then you are not a patriot. No other country matters. Learn your geography geed.

VMI is south of the Mason Dixon so technically it’s in the south. Penn State is north of the Mason Dixon and in a state that touches the Canadian border. You’re fucking retarded.

Frattab, don’t correct people if you are talking out of your ass. Pennsylvania does not, “touch the Canadian border.” The closest it comes to touching Canada is the part of the state that touches Lake Erie. The rest of it is surrounded by American states.

May be the greatest part of this whole article. Thanks for the
    laughs.

Liberals love the 1st amendment until someone says something they don’t like.

It never ceases to amaze me at how fast liberals are to react to any ridicule against their failing administration. That bed sheet doesn’t come close to holding a candle to the bias and idiocy that liberals showed a few years back when George W. visited my campus. Yet, we didn’t sit around and sulk and write about our feelings in some blog about it afterwards. We kept our faith and never once let anyone else’s opinions falter our morals and values, and thus that s why those people that were protesting then are the same people who can’t keep jobs today and are squandering America’s values. So let me end this before it does turn into a “blog” and say that though I don’t actually condone placing an actual sign up announcing your distaste in “Our” country’s leader it is in fact your very right as an American to free speech and I respect your opinion. And secondly that song “Hold Me Closer Tony Danza” is actually pretty decent…. God bless “MERICA”!

They may be fighting for freedom in Cairo right now but we already have that freedom. If we want to continue to be able to have that freedom we must exercise those rights. If we don’t they will be taken away. So whoever wrote that article is full of BS and has no idea what freedom really is.
