Father-To-Be “Accidentally” Boards Flight To Vegas

With all the negativity revolving around airlines in the last couple of months, it’s refreshing to see them give back to customers. Rather than scamming travelers on checked baggage fees or dragging people off their aircrafts, Eurowings decided it was time to give back to their customers and fly a man to Vegas for a steep discount, although he did not know he was going there.

Finance Broker Samuel Jankowsky, 29, said that his boarding pass was checked three times by airline staff after he left Germany for Stansted.

He fell asleep for an hour and realised he was going the wrong way when he saw that the plane had gone over the UK on his in-flight tracker.
He frantically Whatsapped his pregnant wife using the on-board wifi before he landed 8,500 miles away in Las Vegas on June 30.

But he claims when he landed he was treated as ‘a common criminal’ by US immigration officials who he said threatened to detain him for not having a visa.

Old Sam can insist this was a mistake all he wants, but I believe that Eurowings and Jankowsky were working some deals behind closed doors. This story is full of red flags; Jankowsky is nothing more than a 9 to 5 banker looking to escape his pregnant wife and monotonous day to day life for a brief stint in Sin City, and blaming the airline was his ticket to freedom.

This would have been the perfect crime too until he actually landed in the Vegas airport with no visa of any kind and was promptly met with the long dick of US Immigration. Let this be a lesson to us bachelors: If you ever need to escape for a weekend of uppers and exotic dancers, you need to think of a good lie, and depending on the location, maybe even a travel visa..
