If either of these scores apply to you, take a lap.
And this is the BigTen. Any bowl game that isn’t the Rose Bowl (or NCG) is a cash-grab, as demonstrated by Ohio State making the Sugar Bowl last year and Michigan making the trip to New Orleans this year.
You’re focusing on one year, and this argument is about recruiting classes. According to rivals OSU is #4 and UM is #6, which is my original point. I do agree with the rose bowl/ncg point but making a BCS bowl game is still legitimate.
That’s where I tend to disagree, though. While recruitment’s obviously the bloodline of a program, and getting 3-5 ESPN150 guys definitely helps, I don’t really put too much stock into rankings done by journalists. Hell, a team that had the 8th-ranked recruiting class in the BigTen four years ago just finished with a record of 22-5 over the past 2 years.
Though Missouri is going to be raped by the real southern states, if you’re from Kansas don’t talk about football, ever. We don’t give a shit about your stupid shit rivalry so you can stop sucking the SEC’s dick in order to get us to hate Missouri more than we already do. Because at the end of the day, you’re still a worthless school in a worthless conference.
Don’t let my name fool you. I’m from Louisiana and root for the only team worth rooting for in the LSU tigers. I went to Kansas so I wouldn’t have to deal with the same idiots from high school.
^I’m sorry, I thought I was supposed to root for the university I attended? I guess I am doing college wrong. You should always root for your school, even if it does suck massive dick. It’s YOUR school, have some damn pride! Jesus!
Never in the statement did I say I don’t root for Kansas, which I clearly do by bashing that god forsaken prison they call Mizzou. I’m just saying that I also like LSU and SEC football better. But if it came down to LSU and KU playing, then damn it I’d be rooting my ass off for the crimson and blue.
Is anyone else just a little surprised that California is green? I’m speaking primarily about U of So Cal. That being said the blue states are right on.
Excellent name.
13 years ago at 2:19 pmand you are speaking to whom??
13 years ago at 3:02 amThe first time the south has gone blue since Jimmy Carters first term.
13 years ago at 2:55 pmProbably because the south gets all the best recruits. Yankees have just given up.
13 years ago at 3:23 pmWhat about Ohio State and Michigan?
13 years ago at 9:55 pmA sub-.500 team, and a team that allowed 35 points at home to a sub-.500 team. If those two haven’t given up yet, they should.
13 years ago at 9:59 pmToo bad Ohio State has been to the most BCS bowl games out of any team in college football and Michigan won the Sugar Bowl this year. Take a lap.
13 years ago at 1:02 am10-7.
28-14.

13 years ago at 1:44 amI’m guessing you’re in Sigma Chi at MSU?
13 years ago at 4:48 pmOhio State can go to as many BCS bowl games as they want. They still get their asses waxed every time they play someone from the SEC.
13 years ago at 9:58 pmFucking dysfunctional reply button. Proceeding to take laps.
13 years ago at 9:59 pmFuck I hate the Northeast
13 years ago at 3:34 pmMissouri doesn’t count yet. They’re still pledges.

13 years ago at 5:50 pmNot really, because I’d imagine that California is a huge basketball state, so football’s probably on the backburner.
13 years ago at 5:56 pmNobody in California really cares about college.
13 years ago at 6:16 pm^Nobody in California cares about real sports. They are too busy shredding the gnar
13 years ago at 12:29 pmAnd this explains why the SEC always wins.
13 years ago at 6:11 pmeven Tennessee is excited
