Florida State RB Dalvin Cook Under Investigation For Punching Woman Outside Of Bar
Florida State running back Dalvin Cook is under investigation for battery of a 21-year-old woman outside of a bar.
The incident occurred outside of Clyde’s & Costello’s on South Adams Street on June 23 — a day before former FSU quarterback De’Andre Johnson allegedly punched another woman at a bar.
The report states the woman involved in Cook’s incident suffered a busted lip and a sore nose.
The victim spoke with ESPN about the incident:
“I told him I had a boyfriend and wasn’t interested. … They kept telling me they were football players. They kept telling me to Google them. They told me they were football players and they could buy me in two years.”
The report states the woman was intoxicated, but State Attorney Willie Meggs said he “found the women to be very credible.
Cook, 19, was a 5-star recruit out of high school and ran for 1,008 yards and eight touchdowns on 170 attempts for the Seminoles last year.
The victim says she intends to press charges, and a warrant for Cook’s arrest is expected to be filed..

10 years ago at 4:05 pmFirst: I’m pretty sure you’re referring to the deandre johnson case – the OTHER FSU player who hit a girl in the face. Second: I hate when people defend a guy hitting a girl by saying she instigated it or “she hit first.” These guys are Division 1 football players for fucks sake. They know how to take a hit, let alone a hit from some sloppy drunk cunt who cant swing straight. Is she being belligerent? Probably. So give her a good shove, and if she comes back, shove her again or as many times as it takes. But how the actual fuck do you justify going straight for a swing at her face? You don’t.
