Florida State RB Dalvin Cook Under Investigation For Punching Woman Outside Of Bar
Florida State running back Dalvin Cook is under investigation for battery of a 21-year-old woman outside of a bar.
The incident occurred outside of Clyde’s & Costello’s on South Adams Street on June 23 — a day before former FSU quarterback De’Andre Johnson allegedly punched another woman at a bar.
The report states the woman involved in Cook’s incident suffered a busted lip and a sore nose.
The victim spoke with ESPN about the incident:
“I told him I had a boyfriend and wasn’t interested. … They kept telling me they were football players. They kept telling me to Google them. They told me they were football players and they could buy me in two years.”
The report states the woman was intoxicated, but State Attorney Willie Meggs said he “found the women to be very credible.
Cook, 19, was a 5-star recruit out of high school and ran for 1,008 yards and eight touchdowns on 170 attempts for the Seminoles last year.
The victim says she intends to press charges, and a warrant for Cook’s arrest is expected to be filed..

11 years ago at 12:15 pmLike the Winston rape, the Karlos Williams battering of his preggers GF, the guy who just also got charged for punching a girl in the face, etc., I’m sure all the FSU fans will convince themselves this punch was “consensual.”
11 years ago at 4:51 pmSo when the UVA frat is cleared of any wrong doing, you guys all support it, but when Jameis Winston is cleared of the same he is still guilty?

11 years ago at 5:06 pmPity. Johnson and Cook really had the potential to be a solid 1-2 punch for FSU.

11 years ago at 12:17 amReally interested to see how FSU is going to handle this. With Johnson is was easy. “This kind of behavior will not be tolerated here at FSU! He has been removed from the team!” (we have golson set to start and Francois on deck). Dalvin Cook is not exactly replaceable.
11 years ago at 12:29 amWhat we should be feeling bad for are the two bars where the incidents happened. There’s gonna be a large decrease in women-traffic for the next month or so.
