Former ASU QB And House Candidate Giving Away Guns, Booze, And Cigars At Political Fundraiser

The key to a successful recruitment is to draw in a crowd, keep them pleased, and create a following. When it comes to fraternity recruitment, you usually talk to the potential rushees about the crazy parties your fraternity throws each year, you show them pictures or videos that include the numerous hot women who attended these parties, and you talk about the brotherhood and how awesome it is.

Former Arizona State quarterback Andrew Walter recognized the importance of having the right recruitment tools to aid his campaign as an Arizona House candidate. He is hosting an event on Friday called “Evening of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms” in order to raise funds for his campaign. Luring campaign donors in with guns, booze, and tobacco is easier than scoring with your formal date.

Contributors who buy the “expert package” at $1,000 each will get 250 rounds of ammunition and the chance to fire from three weapons. Those donating $250 get a single box of ammo for the opportunity to shoot a Glock 18, a handgun typically used by law enforcement.

Sure, that might not seem like the greatest of packages, but when you take into account how hard it can be to find the right ammo these days–and the free booze and cigars afterward–it doesn’t seem like a bad deal at all.

This is the kind of campaign any red-blooded American can get behind. Suck me in with guns, cigars, and booze and I’ll load you up with cash. In fact, I hope to get an invite to this event so I can pump his campaign with cold, hard cash. Well played, Andy. Well played.
