Former Mizzou Basketball Coach Quin Snyder Once Took A Play From A Dominos Delivery Guy (Probably)

The off-the-court stories from Quin Snyder’s time as the University of Missouri basketball coach are legendary and they just keep getting better.

Snyder, who’s currently the head coach for the Utah Jazz, was fired in 2006 after a string of bad seasons at Mizzou. Although, unofficially, Snyder was rumored to be an avid fan of cocaine and banging players’ girlfriends. That makes for awkward team meetings.

On Tuesday, the NBA head coach told reporters he once ordered Dominos while at Mizzou. He was later delivered the pizza with a piping hot side of basketball coaching gold.

Better than anything you had? Quin, are you referring to the play, pizza, cocaine, or the sweet, sweet sophomore tail you got?

A guy who’s paid to drive around and deliver pizzas drew up a better play than a basketball coach getting played six or seven figures. That about sums up Snyder’s tenure at Missouri.

Snyder shared the stories with reporters not to prove how comical his college coaching career was, but as a source of inspiration.

You can’t say you ran it? But you’re not saying you didn’t run it? You ran it. You totally did, you sly bastard.

I, for one, am inspired by Snyder’s words. Nick Saban, prepare your inbox. I have some ideas.

Fired in 2006? That driver was probably Rick Majerus on his way to SLU.

Pinkel could use a Domino’s delivery driver to draw up some plays for Mizzou’s football team right about now.

Is the cocaine around Mizzou really that good? I see that Maty Mauk wasn’t the only one ridin the white lightning
