Former UNC Player Says Team Had Girls Take Their Tests Before Running Train On Them

UNC athletes have been under scrutiny lately. First, they had a paper class that met once a semester. Now we have the story of UNC players getting females to do their schoolwork before having sex with them.

A former defensive lineman, Tydreke Powell, took the time to call into a local radio station to discuss his time at UNC, which included promiscuous studies and how Butch Davis told the team that if any of them were here for an education, they should have gone to Harvard. This is funny, because UNC is a pretty good school academically and these kids typically don’t have the grades to go to Harvard.

Listen here:

There is a lot to take in from that interview. First and foremost, the basketball players have it easy. They don’t even show up to class and get chicks to take their tests. Secondly, how about the four football players who would run a train on that girl after she finished their work? Poor girl. Lastly, from his comments that players were told to intentionally fail an aptitude test in order to get “note takers,” it sounds like UNC could be in a world of trouble if more players begin to speak out. This doesn’t help Roy Williams or the UNC basketball team’s case at all as they try to dodge any sort of repercussions from this.

If UNC had to do this with their athletes, god knows what Duke’s African American studies/comm depts did to keep students above a 2.0

I have taken classes with Duke basketball and football players and I can assure that the classes that Duke athletes are taking are honors classes compared to these essay classes that UNC athletes were taking.
