FSU Asked Fans To Submit Questions To Jameis Winston On Twitter And It Backfired Horribly
Somebody in the FSU social media department really shit the bed on this one.
Earlier today, a bright mind in Tallahassee devised the genius plan of allowing the public to submit questions through Twitter to their controversial superstar quarterback using #AskJameis.
Jameis has been a handful since he first found the college football spotlight, with incidents ranging from an alleged rape, to a bench clearing brawl during a baseball game, and even stealing crab legs from Publix. With that pretty little list of incidents in his past, it’s a surprise that anyone in Tallahassee could have thought opening Jameis up to questions from the general public was a solid idea.
The original tweet was released at 9:13 a.m. this morning.
Innocent enough, right? Well, the trolls caught on quickly, and the outlandish questions began pouring in.
The Q&A started off fairly tame.
@FSU_Football #AskJameis which matchup are you looking forward to most this year?

However, it didn’t take long for it to get real ugly.
What's easier to get rid of; crabs you just lifted from Public or crabs you picked up from an unconscious chick you just banged? #AskJameis

Thankfully, mixed it with the rape and crab legs tweets were a nice variety of bizarre, yet hilarious questions for the quarterback.
#AskJameis In your opinion, was the Cold War inevitable? If not, was the United States or the USSR more to blame? Was we scrong?
