The guy has called Tiger Woods a loser (jokingly of course), let John Daly hit a golf ball out of his mouth, and used to do a lot of drugs and alcohol in a single day. Of course, the man I am talking about is none other than golf’s greatest on-course reporter, David Feherty.

While Feherty is the jovial guy we’ve all come to love on camera, he does have his fair share of demons that have caused him great despair. He recently sat down with Bryant Gumbel for HBO’s Real Sports. It’s long, but it’s worth watching the whole thing.

Just an incredible story about his rise, fall, and rise again. We can only hope that he continues to fight his demons and lives a great life.
