      Unless they are spring pledges….

      I guess you could always argue that spring pledges suck (they do), but it’s not uncommon for pledges to be initiated in the fall.

      Not that I know this gentleman or the house, but, after a sufficient number of couches have been broken, burnt, or disposed of, you have to bring ole’ reliable out of the bullpen. You know what I’m talking about — the couch that was a few years old when your dad was pledging.
