Georgia Tech Football Player Gets One-Punch Bye-Bye KOed By His Own Teammate

Better late than never: a common phrase often used incorrectly, predominantly by that one sorry friend who waited too long to lose his V card and will forever be plagued by insecurity issues. A sad and lazy line shrouded by hopeful optimism.

When it comes to fight videos, though, it really is better to be late than never. Because even though a recently released video showing Georgia Tech DB Step Durham making fellow DB Lance Austin go “night, night!” was recorded back in May, it still has them worldwide webs all abuzz, amid cries of, “Oooooooooh shit!” and, “WorldStar!”

The sneaky best part of this story is the fact that apparently Georgia Tech didn’t even confirm whether or not the dude who got dropped was even Lance Austin, because it turns out that he has a twin brother on the team named Lawrence.

Sweet baby Muhammad Ali, the sound of that pop, though. Step “Bull” Durham swung that right like he was Thor wielding Mjolnir. He swung that right like he was King Kong taking down an airplane. He swung that right like he was hitting the dab after taking the Jets to the Super Bowl in Madden. He swung that right like… you get it.

The question still remains: Why is this just getting released now? Is it to reignite old beef? Is it to light a fire under the asses of a mediocre Yellow Jackets squad?

I guess ultimately it really doesn’t matter. Because, unlike that buddy of yours who thinks that he’s going to find true love even though his would-be future wife started making the rounds back in freshman year of high school and he’s basically got “Sexual Rookie” tattooed on his forehead (sorry, Matt), the release of an electric knockout video like this really is better late than never.
