Georgia Wide Receiver Chris Conley Has Released An Awesome Star Wars Fan Film

Chris Conley, a wide receiver for the University of Georgia, is not your typical college football player. On top of being an incredible football player, he’s also a huge Star Wars aficionado.

Late last year, he sent out several tweets seeking fellow fans who would be interested in filming a light saber duel around the UGA campus.

After receiving a strong response to the project, he decided it was something something he definitely wanted to pursue before he graduates.

“I’ve actually had a lot of response,” Conley said. “A lot of people really want to do this. It’s something I’m kind of spearheading. It’s been a goal of mine before I graduate. This is just for me, just for fun. All of the people who are involved like that sort of thing and we accept our nerdiness.”

Fast forward to today, and he has released a surprisingly well-produced fan film called “Retribution.” It stars Conley as Khari Vhon, a Sith lord exiled for attempting to force students to wear jorts.

Conley doesn’t seem to be done, either. According to a tweet posted yesterday night, there is still more to come.
