Get Paid to Heckle a Republican

As you may or may not be aware of, Mitt Romney is touring the Midwest biding his time and waiting for the official primary process to be over so he can start campaigning for real. Today at a stop in Michigan, he was greeted by protestors. At first glance these seemed like your regular, grassroots, cargo short wearing liberal protestors. But if you looked closer there was something just a little different about them. They were separate from the “official” Obama protest group, and they were getting paid to be there.

Neither of the representatives agreed to give their names, but two protesters said they were getting paid to stand outside of the rally, though their wage is unclear. One said she was getting $7.25 per hour, while another man said they were being paid $17 per hour. Meanwhile, at the official group, a campaign official told reporters they had nothing to do with the other group — which he said he believed they had been sent by the labor-backed “Good Jobs Now” — and confirmed that they were being paid.

“I mean, it’s a free country, they can go anywhere they want, but they’re not with us,” the official said.

For all their talks about hating the tea-party for being “Astroturf,” the left sure does love to do the same thing. Both candidates have hecklers following them around, but only the Democrats seem to be willing to pay theirs. Just goes to show you, there are people in the world that will follow around Obama and heckle him for free. What a wonderful society we live in.

But let’s be honest here, if it were to get out that Romney was doing this, oh man would Ed “Turkey Neck” Schultz and Rachel “I-Promise-I-Don’t-Have-A-Wiener” Maddow have a field day with it. But since the president is a Democrat, it’s OK. Will Fox touch on this? Perhaps, but they’ll move on. Bill O’Riley has better things to talk about, like citing the tides as proof that God exists.

You’re right to point out that both sides engage these tactics. However, it annoys me to see liberals act like total hypocrites over this issue. Sure, no movement/protest is 100% authentic, but for Pelosi and other Dems to simply dismiss the entire Tea Party movement as “astroturfing” or manufactured by the Koch brothers, while praising the Wisconsin recall and OWS (which had unions busing in paid protesters) is simply outrageous.

Great article but this is nothing new. The Occupy Wall Street Movement is funded by the National Lawyers Guild which is funded by liberal billionaire George Soros gives millions of dollars to left wing causes.

Which is funded by McDonald’s, which is actually funded by neo-Tsarists, who are totally influenced by al Qaeda, which is really just a CIA front the government uses to make money off of opium production.

I’m not making that up. Plus the NLG was a communist front group during the 1930s and 40s. Not exactly unbiased.
